Het was Chuck Mangione die oorspronkelijk de titelmuziek van deze gelijknamige film componeerde. In de jaren zeventig was het een van de bekendste werken waarmee de jazz- en poplegende beroemd werd. Peter Kleine Schaars bewerkte dezefilmklassieker tot een goed speelbaar arrangement voor blaasorkest. Een hoofdrol is hierbij weggelegd voor de fluit en de trompet.
Die Titelmusik zum gleichnamigen Film wurde ursprünglich von Chuck Mangione komponiert.
