Composed by Paul Williams. Arranged by Liz Garnett. Contemporary. Octavo. 4 pages. Liz Garnett #4331259. Published by Liz Garnett (A0.856216).

This is the title song of the eponymous movie re-imagined as a barbershop ballad. It doesn't take much to make the shift. The lyric and melody already carry the kind of wistfulness that responds well to loosening the metre into a rubato delivery, and a return to tempo for the driving feel of the bridge raises the emotional temperature appropriately.

This was designed to form part of a barbershop contest package with the Bad Guys/Down and Out Medley using songs from the same film.

Vocal Ranges:

Tenor: C4 - C flat 5
Lead: D3 - G4
Bari: F3 - G4
Bass: G2 - B flat 3
