Instrumental Duet A Clarinet,Instrumental Duet,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.841266

Composed by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897). Arranged by Chris Gordon. Romantic Period,Standards. Score and parts. 11 pages. Cool Wind Music Digital #3071071. Published by Cool Wind Music Digital (A0.841266).

This is the only published arrangement of Brahms' wonderful Clarinet Quintet which uses the Henle Urtext edition, correcting a number of mistakes in previous editions. The piano part has been devised to incorporate as much of the string quartet accompaniment as possible. Where this causes the pianist difficulties, Brahms' original concept are shown as small notes which can either be incorporated into a performance where possible or ignored. This reproduces Brahms' brilliant textures and rich, autumnal harmonic colours to their fullest extent.

CLARINET IN A PART IS INCLUDED

Please note: this is an arrangement of the last movement - Con moto (Theme and variations)
