This arrangement provides a rich, deep sound, just as if the piece were performed by a choir. The cello solo melody is mainly played by Cellos 1 and 2, however, Cellos 3 and 4 are equally as exciting, playing the harmonies and the trumpet fanfares in the lower registers. The piece has been bowed and is ready to be played as soon as it is printed, however, the players should feel free to change bowings, as it is common in performing this piece.
