This is a great book of beginner theory for beginner violists. A lot of driling of the notes, repetition which really locks it into the student. It's the best book available of its kind for the starting student. HOWEVER-- the proofreading on this was terrible, and there are a...

few mistakes. Only a few, but they're pretty egregious-- wrong notes, etc. So use it, but advise your students on those specific pages.
