Eb to E on the C chord, Ab to A on the F chord and Bb to B on the G chord, typical of the Blues sound.
The left hand is playing a Blues bass pattern alternating the notes of the 1 and 5 and 1 and 6 of each chord. A swing rhythm is used for the song.
The fingering used in the first measure is to be used throughout the piece.
