By John Lennon. By John Lennon. Arranged by Rob Riker. Rock. Score. 10 pages. Robert Riker #5209937. Published by Robert Riker (A0.931676).

Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy) is one of the last songs John Lennon wrote, and was included on his and Yoko Ono's Double Fantasy album, which was released just months before he was shot and killed in front of his own apartment building. It's a gorgeous lullaby written for his son Sean, and contains the famous quote, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." This arrangement makes use of chimes as well as malleted bells to help create the "steel drum" and bass guitar effects from the original song. Performance time is approximately 3:30. .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
