This piece is adapted to intermediate level for the orchestral part, and advanced intermediate for the solo part. There is no major technical difficulties, but the whole piece requires a very intense atmosphere.
Solo flute plus 3 C flutes and 1 alto and 1 bass flutes, or flute choir with alto and bass flutes (no contrabass flute needed).
