Ballad is a jazzy flugelhorn solo. After the introduction of the main theme, the soloist gets the opportunity to improvise freely. Hereafter, the main theme returns, slower than in the beginning, and ends in a melancholic atmosphere. In this composition, the soloist is able to show every aspect of the flugelhorn, one of the favorite instruments of the composer.

Ballad is een schitterende ballade voor flugelhorn en band, geschreven in een luchtige jazzstijl. Na de voorstelling van de twee thema's, volgt er een improvisatorische passage die de solist toelaat de flugelhorn helemaal tot zijnrecht te laten komen. Op het einde wordt het thema nog één keer in een trager tempo voorgesteld en laat u in een melancholische sfeer wegdromen. Een niet te missen solowerk!

Ballad ist ein jazziges Flügelhorn-Solo. Nachdem das Hauptthema vorgestellt wird bekommt der Solist die Gelegenheit frei zu improvisieren. Dieses Stück lässt dem Solisten die Möglichkeit, das Intrument auf verschiedene Weise zu zeigen
