I have since composed string quartets, a string trio, a piano trio, and a cello sonata. But this time I am focusing entirely on the dark and elegant sound of viola as a solo instrument with piano accompaniment. A bit livelier than Morpheus, my composition alludes to some of its themes and pays homage to it, yet establishes its own musical landscape. For viola and piano. Includes the score and viola part.
