The rhythm section parts will add greatly to the flavor of thebossa nova sound but may be omitted when performed by strings alone. Chordsymbols are placed in all the parts at the “open for solos” chorus where asuggested solo is written out for the first violin. Since this is a Latinarrangement, the eighth notes should be performed square and not in a swingingstyle.
