I think the book is very good for the beginner. It can also be used for advanced persons, depending on how you use it. I love the long exercises. More three page major scales and exercises would be nice to see, because its very challenging and sufficient.

Clearly Panofka had a turbullent relationship with a mezzo in his life, resulting in a broken heart, unresolved anger and need to torture mezzos in punishment for his unhappy love affair. These vocalise are an exercise in endurance and technique, but are also extremely musical and overall, torturing aside, fun...

to sing! I highly reccomend this book, but try not to faint when you receive and first look at them!
