McKee (A0.835638).Two very old Christmas Carols, On Christmas Night All Christians Sing and Good Christian Men, Rejoice are repurposed here to form a jolly mashup for your holiday piano-playing pleasure. At measures 32-42 the two tunes are juxtaposed with the RH playing the tune to Good Christian Men, Rejoice while the LH belts out the octave melody of On Christmas Night All Christians Sing. A quick hand-cross makes measures 59-62 exciting but challenging to play at a fast tempo. If practice time is limited, skip down to m. 63 and keep going! This arrangement is GREAT for setting a happy mood as a prelude to a Christmas program of any kind. It also works wonderfully as the grand finale of a student Holiday Recital! Pianists agree that it is FUN to play!!
