Continuing in third book - even overlapping a couple of the first songs in III while still perfecting the final ones or taking the final exam in II - flows seamlessly into more interesting and performance level pieces...

. Even students that only have an electronic keyboard can get into the first half of this book before transferring to weighted piano keys and pedals if necessary. Homeschool moms can continue through this book as long as they practice as well, to help comprehend ahead of time the areas that will be tricky. Students at this level should try, if not before, to arrange for sharing their music - not a piano recital, but as a part of a service at church or outreach event or say a VBS chorus time - which enforces the absolute necessity to get timing, notes and dynamics right.
