In my efforts to do so I have tried to keep the style as melodious, harmonious and traditional as I could. Wishing to include an element of spirituality I have partly used a Byzantine Music inspired mode in the first part, and a hymn-like, pastoral melody in the second half. The melancholic atmosphere permeating the whole piece should speak for itself...
