One of the many great songs from the Twilight series of films, "A thousand Years" by Christina Perry is a great song to learn to play on the piano and now, with this simple piano arrangement you can learn it sooner.
The Arrangement contains the melody, adjusted slightly for ease of learning. Where the melody changes in certain verses it has been kept the same throughout so that it is easier to learn and the layout is kept simpler.
Level This is around grade 1/2 for the piano. The melody is tricky in some parts, and awareness is needed for when fingers are changing position in the right hand to ensure correct notes are being played
About the Arranger, Barry McCormick
I am Barry McCormick, I have an MA in music from the University of Glasgow. I am a musician, composer and arranger from Scotland. I have over 20 years experience in teaching music at a classroom and private tuition level and have taught students from early years to more mature in years. I was involved in a group using music as a means to aid mental health teaching guitar for those purposes. I now mainly focus on composing and arranging and trying to provide resources through various means for students and music educators.
