Composed by Richard Audd. 20th Century,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 16 pages. RMA Music #2022855. Published by RMA Music (A0.1002965).

The original version of A New Spirit is contained in Richard Audd's orchestral work, editEdmaSTer, without a chorus. He decided to arrange a stand-alone version for chorus, piano and some optional percussion with the simple lyric of an "Alleluia". None of the percussion are required. But if the shaker and tambourine are used, they should both be used, played by members of the chorus, and placed at opposite sides of the chorus. The log drums, if used, should be centered. If true percussive "log drums" are not available, other drums such as "tuned" snares/floor drums, etc. may be used. Hard sticks or mallets are suggested and snares would be off. You want hard, low, ringing tones. The audio clip is the original orchestral version without the chorus.
