In many fairytales, fairies can be helpful, mischievous or even dangerous beings with supernatural powers. Fairies are creatures of nature and create for us a link from our every day to the fairy world that lives within us. This simple and serene work allows us to catch a glimpse of this magical world for a moment.
A Fairy Tale is a bright and simple piece. Written in a dream-like spirit, the music evokes these little mischievous beings who frequently materialise suddenly in the heart of the forest or other dark places, always holdinga magic wand that generates a trail of sparks. The etymology of the word “fairy” reveals a notion of spellbinding or magic, but fairies are generally represented as tiny, fantastic female creatures, beautiful women who enjoy supernaturalpowers and intercede on our behalf, for better or for worse, but always in an innocent way. Some legends say that they are treacherous and kidnap children with the aim of creating a fairy line of descent with human features.However, those ardent sentries of Nature form the link that unites the visible and the invisible worlds: thus were fairytales born.May this work make visible the enchanting imaginary world that exists inside everyone of us.
"Fairy Tale“ bedeutet Märchen und zugleich "Feengeschichte“. In zahlreichen Märchen und Legenden sind Feen mal hilfreiche, mal schelmische oder gar gefährliche Wesen mit übernatürlichen Kräften. Feen sind Naturwesen und bilden die Verbindung zwischen der realen Welt und der Märchenwelt, die jeder von uns in sich trägt. Dieses heitere, schlichte Werk macht diese zauberhafte Welt für einen Augenblick spürbar.
A Fairy Tale (Un conte de fée) est une pièce simple et lumineuse. Écrite avec fantaisie, elle évoque ces petits êtres malicieux qui surgissent fréquemment au coeur de la forêt ou autres endroits légèrement obscurs, toujours en possession d’une baguette magique de laquelle s’échappe une multitude d’étincelles. Les fées, ferventes sentinelles de la Nature, sont ce lien qui unit le monde visible au monde invisible : c’est ainsi que naquirent les contes de fées. A raconter absolument lors de votre prochain concert !

Scritto con fantasia, evoca le creature che vivono nel cuore della foresta o in luoghi oscuri, sempre in possesso di una bacchetta magica dalla quale si liberano una moltitudine di scintille.
