Favorite with beginners
Great notespeller for ages 4-9. Kids love the activities which reinforce beginner method books from most series. I use with almost all of my young beginners.

Love This Book!
I use this notespeller series for almost all of my under 12 piano students, regardless of which piano method I am using with them (with the exception of very young students). I've only had one or two students every complain about the book, which is great for a Notespeller! (I hated my piano Theory books growing up...)I also love that this book introduces notes using the anchor notes of Bass Clef F and Treble Clef G so that students have more points of reference for finding notes easily. Most workpages are easy for the student to understand on their own, but I find that a few of them require extra explanation for the student to understand what they are supposed to do.The notespelling is done in a very playful format and makes it seem less like work and more like a game.

Spike and Party Cat
Kids like this series better than regular Notespellers. It's similar to a Highlights magazine, but all music. The hardest thing is to keep kids from doing the whole book in a week or two.

students will ask for the next one.
My students love this book! They ask to do extra pages each week. It is simple to understand, colorful, and students like the story aspect of it. When they are done with the first book they beg for the next one. If there were a book four I would buy that, too. Best of all, it really works. If you have a student who is struggling with note reading you should definitely try this book. It's magic!

Notespeller for Piano -Book 1
This is the first time I have purchased this book. I am excited for my students to learn the notes this fun way with the colorful, appealing drawings with new, interesting ways to remember the notes. I recommend the book.
