Wrong CD
I wish there was a pull out flute part. Not only because CDs are out of date (my computer doesn't have a way to insert one) the CD in my flute book was for a violin and piano book with totally different songs.

The book has the flute solo on the piano accompaniment, but had no separate flute solo version included.

Great resource
I ordered this collection along with volume 1 and I was happy with both sets. The arrangements are interesting and challenging, but still within reach with a few rehearsals. I would like it if there was a pull-out printed copy for the flute part so that it didn't have to be printed out from the CD. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for beautiful music to play for the sacred setting.

Fantastic Flute Solos!
I absolutely love this book! Both it and Vol. 1. Finally, solos that are a little challenging and yet very manageable. So many of these play-along type books are so simple you can sightread them. Then you toss the book aside. Not these. While some of them are sightreadable, everyone of them have a few spots that make it a little challenging, be it key or rhythm or speed. Love it! Only complaint is the book doesn't have the flute part printed like Vol 1 did. They're on the disc and you have to print them to really use it. I wish it had it at both places.

Variety of uses
This collection provides broad selection of more advanced, interesting pieces for the flute. I have both volumes of this series, and seem to like second collection better than the first.I played selections from these books at special church fundraising events and scholarship banquet; one I played in a secular setting when I did a short concert for my co-workers when I was leaving that job. Selections were all well received, fun to play.Beautiful pieces offer a fun and welcome challenge to flutists. It was a bit of a challenge to print flute part from the cd, but it seemed to turn out all right. I prefer the format of a separate book already printed with flute music.

Excellent!
Beautifully written solos with professional accompaniment CD!!! Also has performance tracks so you can hear the flute with the piano. A nice challenge for intermediate on up. I am looking forward to learning all the songs and will plan to order volume 1.

flute solos for worship vol 2
Didn't much care for this book. I thought it was much too difficult and some of the songs I couldn't even tell what they were. They are hard to play with the accompaniment.

Flute Solos For Worship Vol. 2
Just loved it - it's definitely grade 4+, nothing sappy about it. Good challenge, lovely melodies and accompaniment in different formats. Also love that it has a CD with piano and flute, then just piano so you can play along. Finally some music that isn't written for beginners!

Buy this and Volume 1!!!
I purchased both of these volumes based on the reviews and the audio clips. I was not disappointed--the arrangements are superb, the difficulty level is perfect for me, and they are such fun to play! The play along CD allows me to work on them at home but could potentially be used in venues without a keyboard or when no accompanist is available. The arrangements are listener friendly, familiar yet fresh and new, and really treat the flutist and pianist as duo partners rather than pushing the pianist to the background. A few sections are lively and might not be appropriate at all services. But I will be looking for ways to incorporate them into church and community events!

Awesome
These arrangements are challenging to play, and the piano CD accompaniment is excellent. The pianist does a very good job of providing cues for the advanced player. I will be playing these in lots of churches!

Fantastic Arrangements
Brant Adams arranges incredible music that is much more than the typical hymn with slight variations. His compositions are exciting, beautiful and fun to play and perform, for an experienced player. I have Vol. 1 also and I love them both. If you don't use the cd and have a pianist, it's actully more of a duet than a flute solo since the piano part has moments of melody and variations also. Both flute and piano are advanced. Lovely music.
