This neat little book is a gem for sitting by the fire and twiddling the harp strings. All harpers will find something 'neat' here -- fingering is easy, chords are nice, and the melodies give the player scope for experiment and variation.

  • May 27, 2010 50 chrustmas carols for all harps

Excellent book, I used it, as a beginner and it was excellent and gave me great confidence..but check the key if playing in church (tell pianist/organist) as these carols are in a different key for voice! But not a problem to adjust (get the pianist to adjust to...

the keys as set out in this book !!)

  • January 10, 2008 I'm a happy harper

I'm teaching myself to play the Celtic harp. The music in this book has just the right degree of difficulty to present a challenge for where I am at this point. I'm very happy with it.

  • November 07, 2007 great book with a wide selection

This book is very well arranged with two versions of each carol, one which is very simple (but attractive) for beginners and one more complicated. This means that even novice harpists can quickly be playing Christmas tunes, and more experienced harpists will find useful additions to their repetoire. An excellent...

  • September 26, 2007 uninspired

These arrangements aren't much more than you could get from any hymnal or songbook. They're useful, but I was hoping for more originality and interest.
