Both the VIOLIN and the CELLO lead with the melody at times making this a fun and equally challenging piece for both instruments while adding variety for the listeners. The range for each string instrument is as follows: VIOLIN ~ F#4 to B5; CELLO ~ C3 to D4. For the violin, all notes are playable in the first position and all notes for the cello are playable in the first and second positions.
