The pianist, composer, arranger and author of more than 300 compositions Leon Gurvitch lives in Germany and founded his ensemble "Leon Gurvitch Project" in 2000, with whom he has perfected his idea of a combination of European standards of jazz and a stylish cross World Music. In his compositions and arrangements of jazz songs he combines modern elements with klezmer and folk sounds from the Balkans and Russia, as well as accents of Latin America and the Orient.
