The Skye Boat Song was written in the late 19th century to the tune of an old Scottish air. It details the journey made by Bonnie Prince Charlie as he fled after the Battle of Culloden in 1746. The song has been covered by artists such as Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, James Galway, and is currently famous for being the theme music for the TV series Outlander.

Lyrics to all four verses are included along with a suggested piano part, although if you'd prefer, you can play the chords on the guitar or on any other instrument.

If you like the arrangement, please do leave a review.
