The horn part takes the tenor voice solo throughout, singing over the rest of the ensemble. The arrangement maintains original intentions and sounding pitch (allowing the horn part to be replaced by a tenor vocalist if required). All players have occasional rest-bites and plenty of opportunity to shine, with the general range and technical demands for a convincing performance aimed at advanced players. This popular baroque classic would be a perfect addition to concerts, recitals and wedding programmes, for both audiences and performers alike.
