Composed by Wolfgang Schindlocker, (1789-1853). Arranged by Klaus Stoll. Classical,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 12 pages. Mesa Music Publishing #5200651. Published by Mesa Music Publishing (A0.892498).

A challenging work for both instruments in E minor.

Schindlöcker was one of the most important exponents of cello playing on the history of music, who continued the tradition of his well known predecessor Anton Kraft.

Schindlöcker, who was much admired by Ludwig van Beethoven, cultivated and promoted chamber music playing in Vienna. This is reflected in his own compositions as well as the highly demanding cello parts in the works of the great composers of the Vienna school in the early 19th century.
