Composed by Franz Krommer. Arranged by Jeffrey W. Gettleman. Classical Period. Set of Parts. 60 pages. Published by Jeffrey Gettleman (S0.695795).

Franz Krommer's Concerto for Two Clarinets Op. 35 (1802) is a challenging but delightful piece that has found a secure place in the clarinet repertoire.  Published arrangements exist for two clarinets and a single piano.  A single pianist in many places (especially tutti passages) can simply not replicate an "orchestral" sound due to the human limitation of only having two hands. This arrangement of the first movement takes the original orchestral score and rearranges it for two pianos, which gives the accompaniment a more realistic orchestral sound.  For fairly advanced pianists, length about 10:30.  NOTE: Only includes the two piano parts, not the clarinet parts, which are readily available from IMSLP or commercial publishers.
