Published by Jeffrey Gettleman (S0.695775).Short march for standard British brass band instrumentation, in the style of the regimental slow marches of the guards regiments. Two strains, total length about 2:30 at MM66. Reasonable instrumental ranges, intermediate level difficulty. Picture this march being played by the regimental band in the old regimental chapel in the barracks. The two themes would be the regimental songs that would be sung--since this is a fictitious regiment there are no actual songs, these are "songs without words" that would make the retired troopers think about their old comrades and their exploits when they were young.
