He wrote the Concerto in D for Cello and SmallOrchestra for his student, Michael Lim, who performed it with the HonoluluSymphony in 1982. With the consent of Bondi’s family, Michele Winter hasarranged this concerto for solo cello (or solo viola) and strings in order to bringit to orchestras lacking wind instruments.
