He stood forth in the beginning to serve the Father’s plan.
He would come to earth as mortal and give His life for man.
"Here am I," our Savior offered. He said, "Thy will be done."
May we emulate the Worthy One.

The Messiah came to teach as Jehovah had before,
Then atone for our transgressions and open heaven’s door.
Death and hell have been defeated, all glory to His name.
He will share the blessings He can claim.

When our struggles are completed, the battles all are won,
We will glorify our leader, our God’s Beloved Son.
He has captained us in conflict, He comforts us in strife.
He will lead us to eternal life.
