God Bless the Child is a song written by Billie Holiday and Arthur Herzog Jr. in 1939. Holiday's version was honored with a Grammy in 1976. The lyrics are inspired by a personal event in Holiday's life and a quote from the Bible. The song has been recorded by dozens of artists over the years.

Marc Williams' 6-minute all instrumental arrangement is inspired by the Blood Sweat & Tears  version from 1969 and features solo Trombone, 9-part Trombone Ensemble and rhythm section.

The arrangement is appropriate for advanced performers.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
