This easy-going yet lively swing tune in G major encompasses many teaching points. Of course, the first issue is teaching students to swing. There are high and low 2s and use of 4th finger for upper strings. Viola will use 3rd finger extension. The theme is played both arco and pizzicato. All except basses will use 2 and 3 note slurs and longer bow strokes for the lyrical countermelody.
