Versatile Brass Solo Collection

This is ensemble arrangement of the classic Pat Metheny classic that I arranged for the fabulous Rob Westacott to play with The James Shepherd Versatile Brass. He recorded it on the groups' final album 'Legacy'. A full brass band arrangement of this as a solo for Flugel or Eb Horn is also available on Sheet Music Plus.

The music of Pat Metheny may not be instantly familiar to a brass playing audience but as the recipient of 20 Grammy awards he certainly should be.

This is a great solo for the advanced player willing to try something new... the trombone and Euphonium players play the part of the train throughout...
