Published by LudwigMasters Digital (XM.10100570).Programmable individually or together, this two-movement work pays honor to those have died in battle to establish and protect our country. The opening movement, which is based on Taps and Faith of Our Fathers, is a beautifully reverent chorale. The second movement is written in A-B-A form and opens with a brass fanfare. It has a brief section with flutes and drums sounding like a fife and drum corp. The center section is a stately grand march using low reeds and horns. The final section forms a triumphant ending as it returns to the opening material.
