Published by Bethany Wakim (A0.905854)."Beethoven's Feud" is an upbeat, jazzy piano duet (rather, a duel...) based on Fur Elise. The piece has two pianists battling it out: an uptight, pompous classical musician who wants to stick to the original, and a fun-loving pianist mixing it up with some snazzy new rhythms. The duet is great fun to perform, and hilarious for the audience, since the two pianists are literally "fighting" for control of the piano! (I've included some performance suggestions throughout.)
This piece would make an excellent addition to any recital or talent show. Suitable for two early-advanced pianists, but loved by all ages.
