The melodies of the Irish harpist Turlough O’Carolan are beautiful and timeless. Blind from small pox as a teenager, O’Carolan (1670-1738) learned to play the harp and spent his life as an itinerant harpist traveling Ireland composing tunes for patrons. In this collection, five of O’Carolan’s melodies have been arranged in Open G tuning for guitar.
