Composed by Glass Bottom Music. Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 8 pages. Glass Bottom Music #4883339. Published by Glass Bottom Music (A0.1019978).

An original setting by Douglas Clark, for organ and tenor/soprano soloist. The lyrics are an adaptation of Henry David Thoreau’s poem "Prayer," or "Great God, I Ask Thee for No Meaner Pelf." The piece was premiered in December 2018 by Jeremy Lees, with Andrew John Kosinski on organ, at the First United Methodist Church in Asbury Park, NJ. The final version for high voice, available here, benefits from the kind advice of organists John Kosinski, Timothy Broege, and Karin Gargone. God bless.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
