A reworking of the popular traditional tune found in Suzuki Cello book 1. This arrangement changes all first finger notes to backward extensions, and adds an Egyptian-style piano part. A great way to introduce backward extensions to elementary players.

Emma Butterworth is a composer for film and TV and also a successful Suzuki cello teacher. She has an intimate knowledge of how to write for strings, and has written and arranged a vast number of pieces for cellos and strings especially. All pieces have been played and performed.
