The music have been made for students to help them to perform as a group, to practice chamber music together and also how to listen to others.

The trios help students to practice new technical skills like the 3/4-time, the jumping bow, double-stops, trills, glissando, pizzicato, string crossings and the ricochet.

The trioversion for 3 cellos has been published originally in Swedish.

The Eight Small Trios is a part of Violin Friends books for violin and viola students. All of the Violin Friends books are intended to be used with the help of the You Tube- channel Violin Friends.
