In honor of that director and the original piece, I have composed a remastered version based on the classic themes. This time, perhaps more realistic. After two years of composition training, I am proud to demonstrate how far I have progressed. Composed for Wind Ensemble, Grand Piano, and Percussion, The Forest Overture is a dramatic and exciting piece designed to inspire. With immense fortissimos and beautiful suspensions, this piece is sure to excite. I hope you enjoy, The Forest Overture.
