Mary was his mother there, Fulfilling prophecy.
Joseph was his guardian, Protecting patiently.
In the dark and still of night, With light upon his face,
Jesus slept in calm repose. This was a sacred place,
For He brought a special peace Foretold in ages past.
He would fill the world with love, A love to always last.
On that sacred, holy night Real glory shone around.
Gratitude soon filled the air, Then singing would abound.
O’er the earth a veil displayed Sure faith in God above.
Jesus Christ could only bring His Father’s will and love.
Jesus published peace to all, Combined with heav’nly light.
Thus, He fills each heart with hope From that most sacred night.
Stillness and tranquility Are promised as we give.
His tender care and providence Are ours because He lives!
