Composed by Serge Lacasse. 20th Century,Contemporary,Sacred. Score. 5 pages. Musica Ficta Productions #4760529. Published by Musica Ficta Productions (A0.921819).

While apparently simple, "Brise", a piece for solo piano, can be rather hard to perform smoothly. Indeed the melodic line is surrounded by a sixteenth-note pattern played by the right hand and bass notes at the left hand. The vaporous melody notes are often played in alternance by the left and right thumbs so the piece appears to be played by two pianists. "Brise" features on Prof. Lacasse's album Piano Evocations (over 50,000 streams on Spotify alone).
