Seven original solo pieces. Composed by Szabolcs Szasz. Book Only. Composed 2014. 32 pages. Editio Musica Budapest #EMBZ14923. Published by Editio Musica Budapest (BT.EMBZ14923).

This album contains seven original compositions, one of each style of dance music that perfectly suits the accordion. They include a polka, waltz, and tango but also genres which are not played by many, such as foxtrot, jazz waltz, swing, and bossa nova. The pieces intend to achieve two goals. On the one hand, they are of an educational character: they aim to provide guidance for left-hand accompaniment in various musical styles, linking of chords, harmonizing the melody to be played by the right hand while achieving a rich sound.

This album contains seven original compositions of various styles that perfectly suit the accordion, such as a a polka, waltz and tango as well as some rather rare ones like foxtrot, jazz waltz, swing and bossa nova. On the one hand, the dances areof an educational character, aiming to provide guidance for left-hand accompaniment to various musical styles, linking of chords, harmonizing the melody to be played by the right hand and achieving a "rich" sound. On the other hand, when played at ahigh standard they are also concert pieces appropriate for the stage. The pieces are recommended to advanced music school students and secondary school students. They are also perfectly appropriate for accordion players who are generally interested in quality popular music for their instrument.

Szabolcs Szasz (geb.
