It was premiered by the Orchestra of Winds of the Academy of Arts of Chaves under the direction of Maestro Luciano Pereira at the Cultural Center of Chaves, Portugal, on June 27, 2019. The legend tells that a Moorish niece of the mayor of the city of Chaves She had married her cousin. At the time of the resumption of the city by the Portuguese troops she is rescued by a Portuguese soldier whom she falls in love with. Sometime later her cousin and husband disguised as a beggar find the Moorish and cast a spell on her. This one had been imprisoned in the 3rd arch of the Roman bridge of the city of Chaves until a new love appeared. Legend has it that on the night of S.João at midnight screams of the Moorish are heard every year. This work was finished on March 11, 2019.
