This score follows the child through the atrocious deportation process. Starting from the family vacation, to the train station, the arrival and execution at the concentration camp, and finally the dreaded chimney. In an attempt to understand what is transpiring around this child, he/she finds a symbol in something that appears at every stop, smoke. There is smoke at the campfire, from the train exhaust, after the rifles have fired, and finally the chimney.
