Published by Dawson Music UK (H0.585431-64450).This is an intermediate to advanced arrangement of Beat It for flute and classical guitar. The flute takes the melody throughout which has been embellished to suit an instrumental arrangement. The flute part is advanced due to the extended techniques such as flutter tonguing, harmonics and the third octave "guitar solo", transcribed for flute. The flute part is available separately. The guitar part is also advanced due to the percussive techniques involved, explanations of which are included.
This is a very funky arrangement which is enjoyable to play and is a very good concert piece.
