Designed to be as flexible as possible for performance in any situation. Originally written to be performed at the close of a concert featuring any of Dan's major works (Requiem, Jubilate Deo, LUX), it can also close any concert, or be used in a variety of ways in worship services. Its text, Non nobis, Domine, non nobis; sed nomine tuo da gloriam, is the well-known Latin translation of Psalm 115:1: Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us; but to your name be the glory.
