LUX: The Dawn From On High, Dan's newest (2018) major work, is a 35 minute, 5-movement work for chorus (with three accompaniment size options), following in the same vein as his Requiem (2013) and Jubilate Deo (2016). This masterwork encompasses ancient chant, shimmering light, unconditional love, heavenly joy, and deep peace in its setting of five texts about Light in darkness. (See Preview below for texts).
