Composed by Traditional. Arranged by William E. Moats. Christmas. 12 pages. William E. Moats #4365428. Published by William E. Moats (A0.919913).

Written for beginning string orchestra, this arrangement of an old favorite Christmas carol, is playable by first year string students using first position. The performance time is about two minutes. The piece is playable without a contrabass, however there are notes in the that part that are not in other parts.  The performance of this piece also does not require a piano, however there are some notes in the piano part that are not found in the string parts. The piano does provide harmonic and rhythmic support. The entire piece is bowed whole, half, or quarter notes. The group is divided into two groups at rehearsal letter D for a section of canonical playing.

The file contains: Score, 1st Violin, 2nd Violin, Viola, Cello, Contrabass, and Piano.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
