Composed by Johann Gottfried Piefke. Arranged by Emmett Anglin & Sue Stevens. 57 pages. Published by OTBM (S0.525689).This is a fine old Prussian march originally written in 1866 and still played in Germany today. I could not find an arrangement in the US and so have (with the assistance of the Marine Band) created my own version complete with the traditional piccolo/snare introduction. Wonderful German march. Probably a grade 4.
